Collector ratings
Collectors of Numismaticon.com are able to create ratings for other collectors based on their mutual trades. A rating can made for another registered collector, or for a collector not member of Numismaticon.com. This latter kind of rating is referred to as "offsite rating". Ratings consist of the description of the collector, date of the trade and the value of the rating. A positive value means that every part of the trade went as the collector expected. A negative value means that the collector was very disappointed by the trade. Either because he did not receive coins at all, or because he got other or worse coins than agreed on. The values are represented with green, red and yellow faces respectively.
The collector can also add a comment to the rating, explaining the rating, or complimenting the trader. Similarly, the collector receiving the rating can add a response comment to the rating. This feature can be used to confirm, or reject the rating, by explaining the situation. You can read the comment and response of the rating by hovering the mouse over the text bubbles.
The ratings can be reached from the profile page by following the "Ratings" link. The page displays the latest five ratings of all kinds. For a complete listing of either, follow the appropriate links.
Numismaticon.com also offers a quick blacklist page, where member and offsite collectors with negative ratings are displayed. Consult this page before starting a trade with any collector.
