The world coin catalog of Numismaticon.com is influenced by the famous coin catalog originally created by Chester L. Krause and Clifford Mishler. It is maintained on a daily basis, so it provides more up-to-date and more correct information than the printed catalogs.
The coins in the catalog are grouped under countries and regions. These are aligned hierarchically based on historical, geographical and political facts. The main page of the catalog gives direct access to all countries and regions. The sidebar menu also lets you browse a specific subsection of the countries and regions, such as current countries.
Note that all page addresses within the catalog are permanent (even the coin pages). So, instead of copying contents and images from Numismaticon.com, you are kindly asked to create a link instead to the information you would like to share on your page. However, please do not link to the images directly; rather link to the pages cointaining the images.
The table of contents page of countries and regions provides links to coins from different eras as well as to the latest coins. You can also access the table of contents page of all regions put under the current country or region. Note that if the index page of a country is empty, you are directly taken to the last page of the coin catalog of the country.
The coin catalog pages show images and brief information on the coins. Clicking on the view details link will show you all details on the coin.
The catalog maintenance pages are still under construction. Until it is completed, free feel to send me corrections or images for coins as well as information on new coins to me in e-mail.
